Dr. Adams is a December 1987 graduate of LACC who practices in Oakland.
She is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. In her practice she treats elite collegiate and professional athletes and is the Medical Director of the Oakland Athletic League, a Division I high school section. She completed an internship at the US Olympic Training Center in 2002. She was selected as the Sports Chiropractor of the Year in 1999 by the American College of Chiropractic Sports Physicians. In 2007 she was selected by the USOC as the sole sports chiropractor for the World University Games in Thailand. Dr. Adams was selected by the USOC to serve on the 62-member medical staff supporting US athletes in Beijing at the 2008 Olympic Games.

Palmer West was honored to have Dr. Adams on campus to speak with students on Sports Chiropractic and the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
